Kenya is a country in East Africa. The Indian Ocean lies to it's southeast, Somalia to the northeast, Ethiopia to the north, South Sudan to the northwest, Uganda to the west and Tanzania to the south. Lake Victoria is to the southwest and is shared by Tanzania and Uganda.

Nairobi is the capital.

Kenya is blessed with savannahs, white sandy beaches, highlands, snow capped mountains, equatorial forests and deserts.

In general the weather varies with where you are in the country; from warm and humid along the coast to cool and humid in the highlands. Rainfall is seasonal, where in most areas the rainfall peaks are in November and April.
